At Sunrise Early Learning Centre’s, we understand that the first 5 years of a child’s life are fundamentally important! These years provide the foundation that shape your child’s emotional, physical, social and spiritual development.
Sunrise ELC’s provide a loving and nurturing environment that helps to develop a sense of trust and security that turns into confidence as they grow! Our desire is to be an extension of your home, partnering with you to provide continuity of care for your child and family.
Sunrise provides a holistic approach to your child’s learning which is delivered by experienced and qualified early childhood educators who are invested in your child’s well-being. We provide the unique blessings of a Christian pre-school environment, which are embedded throughout our faith-based programme.
Sunrise Christian School Early Learning Centre’s philosophy is to provide a caring, nurturing, and safe environment in which your child is encouraged to reach his or her full and unique potential. We believe that each child is precious and has wonderful God-given gifts and abilities that are to be nurtured and encouraged.

Our Junior School families share a close bond with our committed and caring staff, all of whom invest deeply in your child’s wellbeing. We aim to be an extension of the home, offering faith-based encouragement and support to all Junior School students.
By building Christian character in your son or daughter, we strive to equip them to fulfil their potential, academically, emotionally, socially and physically. Your child will be encouraged to shine and be all who God has made them to be.
A biblical worldview forms the foundation for rich and diverse learning and allows students to develop enhanced thinking skills and enthusiastically engage in the joys of discovery.
The Middle School Experience at Sunrise has been designed to meet the challenges of today’s dynamic society. We aim to provide your child with the opportunity to develop both independent and collaborative learning in the context of a supportive, nurturing environment. We seek to foster his or her gifts and talents in a way that prepares them to successfully navigate the challenges, and respect the rewards, of life.
As part of a successful transition to secondary school we offer a range of specialised subjects introducing students to new skills and further developing previous learning. These subjects include financial literacy, technology and design, practical science, creative and critical thinking as well as practical life skills.
Middle School students have opportunity to practically apply their faith to the local and wider community. Your child will not only be encouraged to seek leadership responsibilities that actively connect them to the school community, they will also be given the chance to organise special events and support areas of need in the local and global community.
Towards the end of their middle School years your child can take part in transitional visits to partnered secondary schools, as well as a trip to Canberra where he or she can see, first hand, our democracy at work. There is also the chance to shine at the end-of-year concert or musical, the graduation dinner, and at presentation night.
