Primary School

Sunrise Christian School Paradise is an ELC to Grade 6 School. We combine a diverse range of learning opportunities, a warm and welcoming environment, and community events with Biblically-based education standards, so your child can shine. 

Our staff work closely with the families and the local Paradise community to encourage and nurture the child’s ‘heart and character’ in order for each child to individually grow in all they have been created by God to be.

From ELC, students develop English language skills through our specialised phonics program; a foundation that transitions them through Primary School and prepares them for a lifetime of learning.

Sunrise Christian School approaches all areas of learning – as set in the Australian Curriculum – through a Biblical lens, with the aim of successfully educating your son or daughter to achieve personal excellence and the leadership attributes to help fulfil their calling. We aim to continuously improve and maintain the best teaching and learning practices and opportunities for the development of your child.

In Primary School, children learn core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science as well as specialist subjects such as art, drama, physical education, health, music, and language. Our older students have many opportunities to make a positive impact inside and outside of the classroom through initiatives such as the Buddy Program, school camps, as well as academic and sporting competitions.
